In the post-modern era, what used to be a list of ‘seven deadly sins’ is now a list of virtues.

------------------

Here's some wisdom:  Not all turds float.

------------------

Voluntary compliance is slavery if you don't have a choice about it

------------------

Today, "A penny saved is a dollar earned" because of higher taxes on earnings.

------------------

Never send a cat to make repairs on a mouse trap.

------------------

When someone calls me odd, I take it as a compliment.  Being average today is a pathetic standard.

------------------

Prostitute's Dilemma:   When you take the money, you pay the price.

------------------

When each of us scientists grow old, tired, and retired, nobody is going to give a sh_t about the gnat-worthy contributions we've made to the system.  Even the most magnificent discoveries of yesterday are overshadowed by minuscule discoveries emerging in real time.

------------------

As a scientist, I've asked myself why I am.  Today, I'd say it's because I enjoy discovery.   I find that the real rewarding stuff to discover is outside of the retaining walls of our prison.

------------------

Never let the government or popular culture choose your heroes.

------------------

I spent a lot of life's effort chasing a tiger, only to find out later that it was merely a rat wearing a bad costume.

------------------

Whomever sits on Mount Olympus is someone you should never trust with your lunch money.
------------------

Guilt and the blame game are powerful weapons in the psychological war that seems to be so persistent in the modern world.

------------------

Throughout history men are faced with the decision of whether to resist slavery or cooperate in it.  Those that falsely believe they are free, never consider such questions.

------------------

Long ago, scientists were free-thinking individuals.  In the post-modern world, scientists run and eat in packs like lions and wolves.

------------------

For a lot of people, drugging up is the the most common path for seeking solutions to problems.

------------------

We live in a world that offers us intoxicants in exchange for liberty and we fall into worship of those whom enslave us.

------------------

Today, humans swim in a sea of information, yet few have an idea of what it means.  Those that know, do so because they don't let the creatures of the sea tell them what it means.

------------------

After post-modern politics has done it's work, one starts to believe that left is right, cats should bark, dogs should meow, and what nature made should be rebuilt into a better form.  This isn't going to end well for us.

------------------

In this so-called free world, opinions such as mine are rarely tolerated.

------------------

It's not knowledge that sets one free, but understanding.  The difference between these is vast.

------------------

One of the biggest ironies of my life is that I despise the supra-state, yet at the same time, I am gainfully employed by it.  My greatest goal as an old man is not to let that irony go to waste.
